About

Released merely a month after Doki Doki Literature Club's release, Doki Doki Literature Girls (shortened to "DDLitG") started for the same reason many fanfics start: I loved the characters and felt like we didn't get nearly enough time with them in the game. Thus, DDLitG was born! A fanmade sequel that explores what would happen if the girls continued their adventures. Starting as comedy and eventually increasing in scope and finding its footing, DDLitG became popular enough that it motivated me to pursue other personal projects, such as Feel Less, The Yui Wrong Variety Hour Show, SGO, and many others. The art is rough and some jokes are dated, but I owe so much to this comic and its fans that it has become an experience I will never forget.

DDLitG follows after the story of DDLC, with the original cast once again returning to the Literature club to live normal lives after it was rebuilt by Monika. However, the more time passes, the more significant the consequences of keeping the game running hidden from the computer's owner become. The girls must now face new and unexpected challenges while fighting for their right to have normal lives, regardless of their condition as video game characters.

I'd like to extend special thanks to the original DDLC team for their beautiful art and story (and for not suing me), to m4v3r1cx for helping me learn some coding for the website, to the Rarebit team for making such a useful and easy to use webcomic template, to oruguin on tumblr for the basics tutorial, and to everyone who has enjoyed and supported this story through the years!
